We support adult learners (students over 19 years of age) to improve their qualifications by studying alongside our daytime students or attending evening sessions.
The Access to Higher Education courses we offer at Richard Taunton are aimed at those wishing to go into nursing, midwifery or health care professions. They include:
- Health & Social Care
- Nursing & Midwifery
If you did not achieve a Grade C in GCSE Maths or English at school (and have not done so since leaving school) then we would be pleased to support you in working towards these qualifications as an adult learner. Our GCSE Maths and English courses are free to all eligible students and you will have access to all the facilities enjoyed by our daytime students.
Adult learners who wish to progress to higher education but do not have the necessary Level 3 qualifications may apply to study our Access to HE Diploma. This course does have fees attached, but students who are 24 years and older will be eligible for a government loan to help them complete the course.
If you are not sure about your eligibility for any of our courses, please contact our Admissions team on 02380 514776.
