Richard Taunton UPS students were treated to a visit from two British Army Outreach Teams, the Royal Logistics Corps (RLC) and Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME).
Students learnt about the different trade jobs and what entry requirements are needed within to join.
They were set challenges and worked in small teams to build a rocket car, a testing session of their reaction times and tried on an ammunition technician’s bomb suit weighing 40kg. What a great experience for the students and a brilliant insight into life within the British Army.
