ATTEND AN INTERVIEW

You will be invited to a pre-enrolment interview within a few weeks of making your application. This is a great chance to discuss your course choices, entry requirements and any enrichment options you’d like to take with a member of our staff. Find out what to expect by reading our blog post.

RECEIVE AN OFFER

If you are successful we will give you a conditional offer for the courses you have chosen, you will receive this either at the interview or in the post shortly after. A conditional offer means that it is based on the predicted grades that you have provided in your application. Keep working hard to ensure you are accepted onto your chosen courses at enrolment.

NEW PARENTS’ EVENING

This evening gives parents an insight into what college life is like, and what we expect from students who study with us. There will be the opportunity to ask questions, chat with teachers and support staff and discover more about how parents can best support their young person.

ATTEND OUR APPLICANT EVENT

Get a real taste of college life at Richard Taunton, try out your chosen subjects, meet new friends and the teaching and support staff. You will get an invite to this during the summer term.

CHECK YOUR EMAILS

In the run up to your official enrolment, we will be sending you emails with information and tasks that will help prepare you for starting with us in September.

ENROL AT RTSFC

September will be here before you know it. You will receive a letter in advance of your GCSE results inviting you to an enrolment appointment. You will finalise your courses, enrol as a student, pick up your student ID, and become a fully-fledged Richard Taunton student.

I decided to study at Richard Taunton because ever since I attended their open day, I noticed the atmosphere of the entire college was really warm and welcoming. Being a smaller college than others, I really believed that I would be given the time and effort by staff to nurture my passions and skills.
