Social Sciences
If you’re fascinated by what makes people tick, find yourself questioning why people behave the way they do or love exploring the issues shaping society, then you’re in the right place.
Social Sciences gives you the opportunity to peek beneath the surface. You could investigate the psychology behind human thoughts and behaviour, explore crime and why it happens, or examine how society, relationships and social influences shape our lives.
At Richard Taunton Sixth Form College, you’ll be encouraged to ask questions, while developing valuable skills in research, analysis, communication and critical thinking.
We offer courses in Criminology, Psychology and Sociology. Whether you’re interested in criminal justice, psychology, social research, education, healthcare or another people-focused career, you’ll build knowledge that helps you understand the world from a whole new perspective.
