Humanities and English
If you’re curious about the stories that shape our world, enjoy exploring different points of view or you’re the person who always wants to know the full story, you’re in the right place.
Humanities and English are about understanding how people, ideas and events influence the world around us. You could explore how language shapes the way we communicate, investigate the past and how it parallels our present, or discover how laws affect individuals and society.
At Richard Taunton Sixth Form College, you’ll be encouraged to ask questions, examine evidence and develop your own ideas.
With courses including Applied Law, English Language and Literature, History, as well as GCSE and Functional Skills English, there’s a pathway for different starting points and ambitions. Whether you’re building your English skills or ready to explore the subjects that fascinate you at a higher level, we’ll help you move forward with confidence.
