The level of study will depend on your prior achievement and GCSE results, ensuring you are set on the right path to success.

| 3 | At least five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and maths, or the successful completion of a level 2 qualification with a merit or distinction grade. Some courses may have additional requirements, such as specific grades in relevant subjects, a portfolio of work or completion of an audition. Check the course pages for more detail. | 19+ Access to HE Courses. 19+ Access to HE Courses. GCSE maths and English at grade 4/C or above. Specifically aimed at students over 19, the Access to HE Diploma offers a recognised entry qualification to higher education. For those candidates who still need to gain a GCSE in English or maths, please talk to our adult learning team to talk about how we can support you to achieve these. 1 year long. | ||
| 2 | At least four GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English and maths, or the successful completion of a Level 1 study programme. Level 2 study will comprise of any necessary repeats of maths and English alongside a vocational subject and work experience. | 1 | There are no formal qualifications needed for a Level 1 study programme, just a willingness to learn and enthusiasm to develop your aspirations. WHAT NEXT?
After completing Level 3 qualifications at college you can progress onto higher education, higher apprenticeships or employment.
Level 4 – 7 Qualifications include HNCs, HNDs, foundation degrees, bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees and PHD/Doctorates and professional career focused qualifications.
