This two-year Health and Social Care Extended Diploma course explores many aspects of health and social care including anatomy and physiology, caring for individuals with dementia, children’s support needs and mental health. You will also gain work experience in the health and care sector whilst undertaking regular placements.

Course entry requirements
At least five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English Language, Maths and a science)
As a national requirement, a DBS check is carried out on all students before they start the course and there are strict guidelines regarding attendance at college and placement.
During your studies you will have access to extra materials and activities as part of your course. These extra items (such as equipment, study guides and workbooks etc.) are built into the normal day-to-day running of our courses and so we ask students to make an annual payment towards these additional costs.
