I chose Richard Taunton because it‘s got a great atmosphere and everyone was so welcoming at the open evenings and my taster days. I‘ve made so many new friends, which has helped me come out of my shell a lot more.
I enjoy the practical aspects of the course because the experiments are ones I've never done before and my lessons are taught in such an engaging manner.
My teacher is passionate about biology and every lesson is filled with new and fascinating information that keeps everyone engaged and excited about the subject.
The course is so varied and we learn about so many different areas of technology. So much of what we do can be related to real life situations, and you can really build up your skills and feel prepared for whatever comes next, whether that‘s employment or university - and you can have fun doing it!
The teachers here all have our best interests at heart and really want us to succeed. My psychology teacher has been so supportive throughout the course and really helped me if I was ever struggling with the subject. I loved doing group work activities and all the in-depth feedback we'd receive after completing mock exams. It has really inspired me to carry on studying psychology at university.
The careers team have been so supportive whilst I've been at college. I've had one-to-one appointments, attended industry specialist talks and spoken to employers at careers fairs.
There's always so much going on! The work experience coordinator also helped me organise and secure a placement at an accounting and finance firm, which is what I hope to go on and do after college.
One of the things I like most about English Literature is that there is no set answer, you are able to express several ideas and be creative with how you interpret texts.

Health and Social Care is definitely my favourite subject at college. I am looking to go to university to study Primary Education, and this course has really prepared me for my next steps.

I choose to study Maths because I like how precise it is and how useful it can be in my other subjects. It's a challenging course and you have to be prepared to work hard outside of your lessons.

If you are passionate about performing or musical theatre, then you should 100% do this course. The course has given me the perfect outlet to explore my potential as a performer and my confidence and technique has improved massively because of this.
There is such a high level of professionalism that prepares students for the performing arts industry, and the teachers push us to our limits and allow us to explore our abilities in a safe and supportive space.
I've made so many new friends and have had so many new opportunities whilst doing the coaching course, there is so much to get involved in. We've had access to some great facilities and additional training.
This year we have already visited the training ground and home of England football the FA National Football Centre, to experience the highest level of coaching to inform our own practice.
