Course Summary
This course explores both the practical and aesthetic aspects of photography,
and you will learn from the ideas and techniques of other photographers. Work
will be primarily digital, but you will also have the opportunity to gain
experience of working with creative darkroom processes.

Assessment
This course is 40% exam based and 60% coursework.

CAREER OPTIONS: Creative and portrait photographer, stop motion designer,
filmmaker, photography journalist, teacher.
Entry Requirements
At least five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English, maths and art. A
suitable portfolio of creative work may be accepted as an alternative to GCSE
Art & Design.
