Graphic Design
A COMBINATION OF ART AND TECHNOLOGY, GRAPHIC DESIGN WILL DEVELOP YOUR SKILLS IN CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING.
This course explores the fundamentals of graphic design and provides a concise introduction to working in the design industry. You will have the opportunity to learn new computer editing skills while presenting an individual response to design briefs.
Topics Include:
- The creative process
- Graphics materials, techniques and processes
- Visual recording and communication
- Critical and contextual studies in art and design
- Exhibiting and presenting artwork.

Course Requirements
At least five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English Language. A suitable portfolio of creative work may be accepted as an alternative to GCSE Art.
