A COMBINATION OF ART AND TECHNOLOGY, GRAPHIC DESIGN WILL DEVELOP YOUR SKILLS IN CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING.

This course explores the fundamentals of graphic design and provides a concise introduction to working in the design industry. You will have the opportunity to learn new computer editing skills while presenting an individual response to design briefs.

Topics Include:

  • The creative process
  • Graphics materials, techniques and processes
  • Visual recording and communication
  • Critical and contextual studies in art and design
  • Exhibiting and presenting artwork.

Art Foundation (Pre-Degree), Illustration, Graphic Design, Design for Multimedia, Printmaking.

Course Requirements

At least five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English Language. A suitable portfolio of creative work may be accepted as an alternative to GCSE Art.
