Course Summary
Building upon your existing art skills using drawing for different purposes. We explore the artistic nuances of line, tone, texture, form and colour application using a variety of methods. Themes are varied in order to give you a breadth of approaches building up to your personal investigation in your second year. All students will have access to the open art facilities (external to taught sessions). In their second year of study, they will have access to their own studio spaces including table and wall areas. Students are encouraged to engage in the student-based creative community, where they can build conceptual individuality and take ownership of their own practice.
