WHAT DOES THIS COURSE COVER?
The qualification measures the knowledge and skills required to meet the support needs within an Early Years setting. Achieving the qualification demonstrates an individual’s ability relating to child development, care, behaviour and learning.
HOW IS THIS COURSE ASSESSED?
This course is assessed by portfolio. Each individual learner receives one-to-one support from an allocated assessor.
WHO IS THIS COURSE SUITABLE FOR?
The Early Years Educator (EYE) Qualification is designed for anyone involved in or wanting to work within a Nursery, a Pre-School, as a registered Childminder or working with children under the age of 5 and would like to gain the necessary qualification to become an Early Years Practitioner.
COURSE TIMINGS
This course lasts for 24 months. Start dates are available throughout the academic year.
HOW MUCH DOES THIS COURSE COST?
This course can be fully funded if students have not achieved a full level 3 qualification or higher or if their annual income from April 2022 is under £18,525.
PROGRESSION
On completion learners will be able to work as Early Years Educators in England.
Course Requirements
You must be 19 or over to access this course. You must be employed or volunteering within an Early Years setting for a minimum of 12 hours a week.
