Information & Creative Technology
This one year vocational course is highly practical. You will learn by completing projects and assignments based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. In addition, you’ll participate in course-related work experience. This course will prepare you for level three courses (A Level or vocational).
Level: Vocational (level 2)

POSSIBLE CAREER OPTIONS:
Software developer, web/content developer, mobile apps designer, games designer, programmer and IT/business analysis support.
POSSIBLE UNIVERSITY STUDY OPTIONS:
Business information and technology, digital technology solutions, computer games technology, creative technology, information technology management for business, computing forensics, computer networks and security.
FURTHER COLLEGE STUDY OPTIONS:
Business or IT (level three).

Assessment and Qualification
- Two exams
- Four pieces of coursework
- Exam board: Pearson
- BTEC Certificate (level two)
- Equivalent to two GCSEs.
Course entry requirements
- At least two GCSEs at three and above in English and maths.

During your studies you will have access to extra materials and activities as part of your course. These extra items (such as equipment, study guides and workbooks etc.) are built into the normal day-to-day running of our courses and so we ask students to make an annual payment towards these additional costs.
